Urgent Appointments

To request an urgent appointment for today or tomorrow (Monday to Friday):
  • use our appointment request form, Monday to Friday from 8.00am to 12.30pm. We will respond quickly to assess your request and book patients into urgent appointments based on clinical need.
  • use the NHS App
  • Phone us on 0114 2299835 to speak to a receptionist. The receptionist will need to take a few details from you regarding the reason for your request in order that it can be triaged by a GP. 
  • Visit the surgery to fill in an appointment request form or speak with a receptionist. The receptionist will need to take a few details from you regarding the reason for your request in order that it can be triaged by a GP. 
  • We will use the information you give us to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or health professional to help you.
  • Please note that requests for home visits should be requested by 10.30am in order for them to be scheduled for that day. 

Routine Appointments

To request a routine appointment:
 
  • Use our appointment request form, Monday to Friday from 8.00am to 3.00pm. We will respond within 1 working day.
  • use the NHS App
  • Phone us on 0114 2299835 to speak to a receptionist. The receptionist will need to take a few details from you regarding the reason for your request in order that it can be triaged by a GP. 
  • Visit the surgery to fill in an appointment request form or speak with a receptionist. The receptionist will need to take a few details from you regarding the reason for your request in order that it can be triaged by a GP. 
 However you choose to contact us, we may offer you a consultation:
  • by phone
  • face to face at the surgery
  • on a video call
  • by text or email
Appointments by phone, video call or by text or email can be more flexible and often means you get help sooner.

Enhanced Access:

Evening and weekend appointments to see a nurse or GP are available; however these will be at an Extended Hours Hub. The nearest Hub is at Fairlawns Medical Centre on Middlewood Road.

Cancelling or changing an appointment

To cancel your appointment:
  • use the cancellation link on your appointment reminder message
  • Phone us on 0114 2299835 to speak to a receptionist.
  • use the NHS App

If you need help when we are closed

If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or call 111.
NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.
Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk or visit A&E at the Northern General Hospital, Herries Road, Sheffield, S5 7AU.
